Q-
The first complete red strawberry from my raised bed was verry sour. This berry came from a transplanted daughter plant, first year. Is it something in the soil that caused this? If so what can be done to correct?
A-
Usually people are so excited to see that first berry, then they pick it too soon. Don't harvest with green tips, from green tip to ripe could be 3-4 days. Nate Nourse
